I paint in the forest, in my home-workshop surrounded by nature and owls that sing at night. I have an ancient timeless feeling, which appears to me when I am not looking for it. It suddenly blossoms in me under the form of extremely beautiful images that are impossible to associate with daily objects. They are charged with a sensation of infinite width and long to be born into reality. They look for ruts among the night, among the monotonies of the mind, among the waffle.
They -the images- are the closest to what I am, because in these scratches of time lies something eternal. that’s why I paint.
I studied fine arts in Barcelona and Chile, I traveled a lot, I meditated a little, I dreamed.
My workshop is full of pigments, resins, oils and geometric formulas. I investigate and apply the old techniques mixed with tempera used by Flemish painters and recovered by some surrealists , learning from the mystique of the raw material and seeking to capture the mother and unifying matrix of all forms.
